Set up buy the Avon Fire Service, GAFSIP are the charitable arm set up to provide support and resources to the Gambian fire service. During the last 15 years over 700 Firefighter jobs have been created and 9 new fire stations built, 36 schools have benefited from donated goods, including 3 IT suites. While we are limited by space and weight (we’ll travelling over sand dunes) GAFSIP send regular containers to Gambia and are collecting for schools and medical centres if you have access to anything that may be of use they would be very pleased to hear from you. We’re also aiming to raise some money towards the shipping of the Green Goddesses.
